I see other 6th gens pull behind or beside me and pause, kinda like looking at the outside of their cars from the inside.

I don't get that at all I get people to start driving slower ...gawking , but I'm in Illinois and I'm convinced we have the worst drivers

I seriously think the Accord, Camary, etc drivers are really just interested in seeing how fast our cars are. Its a dumbass move for them to tailgate but when they do this to me, they get exactly what they want-a full throttle launch off their front bumper.

Respect goes both ways though. I respect other cars in this class, like GTs, R/Ts, other camaros and corvettes. It seems mutual. I saw a masarati on the road today who seems clueless but we were just driving in light traffic. People stop me all the time to tell me how much they love my car and today was no exception.

I feel a lack of respect from 5th gen owners but I haven't decided if that's just me with a false sense of superiority or what. It's probably me and I need to adjust my attitude.

It's not you there's a poll going on at Gen 5 right now 6th gen Camaros ranked pretty low I think the only thing lower is the 4th gen according to what they like to each their own I love the 4th gen

Yes you do. And as a 5th gen owner I still get tons of comments on my car. Even with the 6th gen out i still get "nice Camaro" Ive read on here how some 6th gen guys have been asked what car is it or is that a Camaro? Never has that happened in my 5th gen. Just like the 5th gen forums here on gen 6 the really big fans are on here. Outsiders dont really care about our cars. We tend to have our opinions on what others think about the Camaro. In reality nobody else really cares.

Guys, I've owned some cool cars over the past 10 years and I truly enjoy driving the SS as much as any of them. It's just a damn good and fun car. Do yourself a favor and honestly don't lust after most more expensive cars as there is a very good chance it isn't as fun as the Camaro. Seriously. Save your money and just have fun. Burn money on gas and tires.

The Miami area is loaded with Challengers, Chargers, Mustangs, Corvettes and Camaros, they're EVERYWHERE. I love my 1LE, there aren't many of them around
