Most aftermarket manufacturers have exhaust for each type (Non-NPP dual tip and NPP quad tip). I have Borla S-Type. Love them. Edit: I think Techn9cian805 was reading my mind while I was typing. Else I didn't see his reply. Either way.

Does anyone know how much of a performance gain the NPP exhaust gives on the V8?
I reduces the back pressure and therefore there should be a gain in horse power over the stock 455 HP.

none is specified by GM, but I would assume 5hp or less. or none. the NPP is purely for exhaust sound management, not power.

I would definetly get the dual mode exhaust. Worth every penny and it sounds amazing on the v6.

Get the NPP exhaust option and don't look back! You will like it. Trust what everyone is telling you about it. I really like mine! Good luck.

What they said. Thr v6 with NPP sounds really good. It gives it a nice deep rumble without being all raspy like most aftermarket v6 exhaust kits get.
