intake restriction???

Friend of mines centri powered mustang. Looks like a lot of bends in the intake. That would definitely create some restriction right?

lol. I told him and he didn't think it made much of a difference. Just seems there are better ways tbh.

The Mustang has a tighter engine compartment than the Camaro. And I think the engine is physically bigger (in actual physical size). So the centrifugal blower companies have a bit of a harder time designing their systems. By comparison even the Camaro has some unattractive bends in it on the inlet side. Check out the picture.

However the blowers themselves are becoming more and more efficient these days. And the hp/tq numbers are still on par with the top mount superchargers from what I've seen. |
