231/236 FI compatible?
I'm looking into the tsp 231/236 cam I was wondering if it will be fine with going FI?
I won't be getting a blower for awhile so I want to get good power or the time I don't have the blower. |

Going to depend on the over lap. Get the full specs and calculate the over lap. Lot of over lap and you will lose boost. You would have to get it with around a 115 LSA and it would have around 3 degrees of over lap. Like it is about 11

I know where i can get a blower cam. Its just i wont be doing a blower for say 5 to 6 years. So i want to get a little more power for now till then. If i find a cam that works well with it. like [B]Litle88[B] said the NF or hopefully the 231/236 does i wont have to worry about anything.

You'll need more exhaust duration, but first what kind of blower are you thinking of getting? Roots/centri type?

Check this out BIRM and I were in the same boat about this cam tsp 231/236 lsa 111 Mine, His was 112. Great NA Cam and we both made good numbers i was 478rwhp and he was 480ish.
I contacted New Era Performance and TSP and they both said I could use my cam, but ideally it wouldnt be the cam of choice by far, but can work. BIRM decided to keep his cam and add a ECS Kit from Matt at FSP. He still had amazing results, as you can follow the link below. I swapped mine for a different cam but then again, you mentioned a Centri blower, I think they are a little more for giving than my PD blower. But then again its just my opinion not facts. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=287345
