Car cover for winter

Hey everyone, my gen6 will be parked outdoors this winter and I’m wondering if anyone has any recommendations on a car cover that can protect the car throughout the winter?
Thank you

Carcovers.com has some decent prices and a great selection of Covers.

Personally I would rent a storage unit but this is a good cover. Very breathable.

Covercraft Noah. Very thick, waterproof and holds up well in the winter. Have used it on one of my other cars for years.

The problem with this world is stupidity.
I'm not saying there should be penalties for stupidity,
but why don't we just take the warning labels off everything and let the problem solve itself.

I don't like the idea of using a cover when the car is outside.
Obviously, my Camaro spends the winters in a heated garage, but with all my cars some have to spend the winter out side.
I don't to use a car cover outside because with the wind blowing it will rub on the paint. If there is any dirt particles they will (can) act as sand paper and rub on the finish.
Another issue is dampness and water. I want the vehicle to be dry and not have moisture trapped under the cover.
And one additional note, is rodent infestation. This happened to a friend of mine with one of his Corvettes.

I purchased my car cover from TGMPG (That GM Parts Guy) and I believe it great for outdoors and its stormproof after doing my research. Its hugs the car pretty securely and it doesn't lift off the car at all since its pretty snugged fit. BTW my car wasn't started I just decided to take the pic to see how it looks with the lights when I locked the car since I applied the cover at night. Looks pretty bad azz to me.

Unfortunately I have tested 2 different CoverKing covers and both allowed dew/water under the cover. I tested their mid tier and top of the line. Need to make a video on it. I want to test out the cover-craft option, just need a few more bucks before I can buy it.

Car covers can make marks - swirl and microscratches.

What is the downside to just leaving it uncovered for the winter?
