So I was told anything under 1000 wont change my rate... we shall see. Looking for hoods on ebay now :-/

Yeah the bikes will be moved, apparently the anchor screw snapped and the bikes went flying. Maybe the wife will let me go carbon fiber instead.

New hood? That's a waste of money. Paint less dent repair can remove all that. And then just have the minor scratches painted a very small color blend can be done and then the hood clear coated again. Call it a day........

It's the reason you pay for insurance.
One non-moving incident won't raise your policy.

Sell the bikes, drive the Camaro! Your health is a genetic crapshoot anyway.

Any advice on that one?

1k for a hood is steep but then I wont have dents :-)

Calling your agent doesn't automatically make it a claim. That is part of an agent's job, to give you advice.
Do what Fred said.

I'd sue the bike owner, then it's on his insurance. Oh wait...

Home owners claim, that is why you pay insurance, you pay them to take the hit incase things like this happen.

You really shouldn't store your bikes by hanging them from the rims. Over time, the weight of the bike will bend them out of round. Ask me how I know this.
