Okay so I want to add some long tube header for their performance but Im afraid it will be too laud with my borla atak. So i was thinking if i add some cats to the LT and an X-pipe, would it reduce the noice of the longutbes?

P.S. if you guys have any idea on how to reduce the noise of the LT please let me know. Also, My camaro is my daily driver and i wake up at 3 am to go to work so i dont want my neighbors on me all the time.

Well long tubes will definitely wake the car up, both in sound and performance. Given that you have Borla's Atak catback it will definitely be loud. Adding high flow cats will reduce some of the rasp that your exhaust will have, but it won't likely knock down the volume much. Given that you live in LA you may not even be able to use LT's due to California's crazy strict exhaust/emissions regulations.

Worst case, you buy an S-type axleback and swap the mufflers. That's what I did.

When I was just bolt ons I had headers with cats, Magnaflow x Pipe, deleted resonators and a Borla ATAK, didn't think it was too loud at all. It's only loud when you're WOT and really that's about it, you won't have bad cabin noise. Shit even with my SS4vvt cam from GPI I still don't have any drone.. I never understood why people complained about the ATAK but maybe that's just me ��
