Replacement Air Filter Part number

I tried to order a stock replacement (not CAI or K&N) Air Filter for my 2016 Camaro 1SS (6.2L V8), and twice I keep getting the wrong size filter. Both Rock Auto and my local autoparts stores databases list a smaller filter than what we actually have (they keep wanting to give me a 49475).

I even pulled my filter an went into the store to compare it to everything on the shelf, and they didn't have anything that size.

Has anyone replaced their dirty air filter yet? If so, what brand and part number did you get?

Looks like OEM is the only way to go. Thanks for the link!

I should probably check mine. Coming up on 2 years now since I bought it, but I only have about 7800 miles on it.

I just ordered AC Delco A3223C. Will see if it fits when it comes in.

Ditto - thanks guys! I've been meaning to get a new air filter and this thread prompted me to get one ordered.

I went ahead and ordered this AC Delco filter. Got it in today and put it in. Its a perfect OEM fit much like you would expect from an AC Delco part for a GM vehicle.

My OEM original filter with a little over two years and 15K miles was not all that dirty. But I changed it anyway since I took the time to get those five small headed but very long screws out of the air box lid. That is a little over engineered when a couple clamps like everyone else uses would have worked just fine.

Yep, perfect fit here too. Installed it Tuesday, it feels a bit peppier. Those screws were a PITA. Why not just use clamps.

I went 2 years and 28,000 miles. Lots of dead bugs in the air box.
