Tire sticking out after alignment

So I lent my friend my car for a night. Yes I got the ice I'm ready for the burn, anyways I joked and said did you wreck the beast yet? And he said "well I didn't wreck it but I hit a curb." in fact he hit the curb so hard that he actually broke an upper control arm on the passenger rear side. Anyways he fixed it and got it aligned and the control arm replaced. But then I began noticing something the side that he hit is now sticking out. While the drivers side rear is normal. I was wondering what is causing this. Any input?

If he hit the curb hard enough to break the UCA, then it's very likely that other pieces could be a little bent out of shape, not much perhaps, but enough to where your tire is "off."

I would find a good suspension shop for a 2nd opinion.

Doesn't seem normal, I would have that rechecked! At least your friend was willing to pay. I let my friend have my car for a day, but I used his garage queen as well, which is a '07 modded GT-500.

I USED to loan my car to others when I detailed their cars for them, I wouldn't even consider it now.

Well in relative fairness he did give me 200 dollars that night and his Mitsubishi outlander. Plus he footed the 963 dollars and is willing to fix it again. Moral of the story, ask for more money than settling for 200 dollars?? Lol. I know I know.

Is the tire that sticks out on the opposite side of the impacted side? If it is, something else is bent or the subframe has been shifted. Get it on a rack and look over the mounting bolts for the subframe to look for any witness marks where bolts used to mount.

Being the impacted side I would look at the lower arm or spindle being bent
