Yes, it is. As far as I know, the differences between the American and the European spec are:
- addition of turning LED lights on the outside mirrors;
- deletion of any model/badge or version name on the car (such as "SS" or "RS");
- addition of a flat LED reverse light into the back bumper, between the pipes;
- deletion of the vertical LED day running lights (just for the 2.0L Turbo);
- addition of two brake ventilation air intakes at the place of the vertical LED day running lights (just for the 2.0L Turbo).

I guess it is a very easy modification: you should just buy the European modified outside mirrors and switch them with the current North American version, letting the signal for the lights coming from the bumper line. I guess they will not be too cheap..

See you!,

I like the white reflectors on the wheel well lines on the black paint. Looks really cool!

Here we are!!
After a very looooong seven months waiting time from order, my Camaro just arrived at my dealership!!

Bad thing: car arrived with the wrong wheels set! A replacement has already been ordered..
Good thing: my baby's here!

Here are the very first pictures after the car was unloaded last Saturday, together with a twin sister (mine's on the left looking from the rear):

I should be having my delivery on Wednesday.. I can't wait for it to come home with me!!

See you!!,

congrats Eos. Let us know how it drives
I got till Saturday to pull the trigger. I've found one dealer in Belgium and he has to order before the end of January not to lose his allocations.
Still unsure about buying one. It will be considered as extra income and even it's only a 2 liter the CO2 emission is very high (181 gr) which results in a net extra tax of 3000€ :(

Looks good. Do you plan to drive it in the countryside? I thought the streets are very narrow in Italy.

Hi everybody!!,
thank you for your great support..

@ soldes:

> congrats Eos. Let us know how it drives

Hi Nick!,
I will tell you tomorrow night, as I will drive to the dealership for delivery tomorrow morning (it's four hours drive from Milan, where I live)!

I know you have strict pollution and CO2 regulations in Belgium.. and I can understand you very well: my choice on the 2.0L Turbo has been forced by the local taxation system here in Italy. It's foolish, but I would have paid back to the Government 90% of a V8 Camaro just paying the luxury taxes year by year in just 5 years. That's nonsense! The 2.0L engine is surely not the "real thing" but can be acceptable: anyway, I've paid 1,000 EUR just to get the car registered and will have to pay the same amount of money year by year.. but it's not almost 6,000 EUR per year as the V8 does here.

@Mike_from_Germany:

Yes.. I've Googled the distance to Herbrechtingen from my town and it looks like it would be about five/six hours drive.. not too much!!

@ WhyUMad1LE:

Ahahahah.. I know they are, mostly if compared to US highways!! Yes, I will drive my new Camaro on a daily base, so it will be my first car. Countryside and small villages at Lake Como (very close to Milan!) will not scare me at all!!

@ viewska:

> Great looking car! You're going to LOVE IT!!

I am already!! I will bring the car home tomorrow.. I'll update the thread very soon!!

See you all and again thanks for your great support!!,

Have fun with your new car! My intention was also by the 2.0 (because the CO2 tax), but the dealer had only the V8 for a test drive. It was an extraordinary experience between the 2 and 3 cylinders on the Dutch road! I've ordered the V8 and paid over 51000 EUR tax, worth every penny.

WOW!! Peetrutgers, you got a wonderful car waiting for you there.. nice color combination!! Indeed, your car is fitting the wheels I had ordered for my 2.0L too. I hope my dealership will receive them as soon as possible and swap them.

Compliments, Peetrutgers!!

Camaro with a power sunroof in Milan, Italy

But you should consider keeping those wheels.
