TPMS and other questions on the new wheels I installed

I just installed my new HRE wheels last night (they look awesome!). but I drove it about 20 miles last night to see the ride and here is what happened/I expected.
1) I expected the TPMS monitor to come on, but never did (to sync up with the car.) why didn't it come on?
2) in "TOUR" mode, rode very soft with my Michelin PSS4 tires (1LE sized wheels) but when I went into sport/track mode, boy I can feel the bumps!
3) during my slow maneuvers, I heard a ton! of rocks kick up. Luckily, I installed my ZL1 addon deluxe rock guards to hinder this. Will it eventually not be as "sticky" or is this normal for this tire. I'm assuming that the new-ness of the sticky is what's causing this.

How long did you drive it after the installation of new shoes? My tpms light didn't come on initially after installing my new setup. Then the following day when I drove on the highway for over 10+ miles its when it came on. Hopefully it works out for you though. Mine came on as expected and had to order the $60 Orange Electronics EL-50448 relearn tool, fixed within 30 seconds. +1 on PK Design complete wheel/tire setups. Shaved approx. 7lbs per corner on the new combo (spirited street driving). Very happy with the PS4S.

well that would answer my question then. I haven't driven it on to far distances. Not sure if I want to pop the 60 bucks for one or two times use. I'm good relations with my dealer, wonder if I sneak in there they can do something similar. I'm not a fan of them plugging in the Tech2 in the OBD2 port, as Its tuned and afraid anyone will jack with it, but as to, wonder if they have a tool similar to that you speak of.
