Retrofit Recaro's?

OK - so I want the new Recaro's just unveiled in my ZL1.

Do we think this is going to be possible fairly easily?

I just made the same comment in the Z/28 thread too! I will be looking forward to seeing if a retrofit is possible (and if it's able to keep the power functionality).

Are they going to be options on a 2014 ZL1?

Count me in. I want them too. They are sick. I just hope there is a way to remove the z28 logo from the head rest. Don't wanna be a poser.

They are for the SS so I'm guessing yes.

I was thinking the same thing! Those seats would be awesome if I can get them with the ZL1 emblem.

My guess is this will be a 2014 ZL1 option if they continue to build them. If so you should be able to purchase a set with the proper logo. I will want to sit in a set but if they are comfortable I want some too.

Well I'm hoping that they will be an option on the 2014 ZL1 with the ZL1 logo - and that they are able to be put into 2013/2012 ZL1's.

THEN I will have the perfect car in my opinion as the one thing it was seriously missing was proper seats!!

I think GM would be crazy to not make them retrofittable as they would make SERIOUS money from the 2012/2013 owners guaranteed

That would be sweet! Just the other day i sat in mine for the first time in like 4 months and i was shocked how much worse the standard seats are than what i'm used to right now in my Audi...

Anyone care to weigh in on the Carbon brake discs? Will this be something you can add on later on?

I am hoping they offer it as a separate package. The seats and brakes should have been on the ZL1 since the ZL1 is/was the top of the line Camaro as far as creature comfort and performance. Maybe the Cadillac V division needs to take over the Camaro team as far as offering options? They offer options such as those.

A performance upgrade package to 12/13 owners offering the Carbon Ceramic Brakes And Recaro Seats would be a great thing....

Here's hoping!!

brakes might not have been available for our car yet? im sure its retrofitable i dont see them using a new hub or mounting brackets specifically for the z28
