I'll have to look into these border transport guys... What did you pay to get your tires to Mississauga?

$16 fee for each 20" tire. So $64 fee plus the Tax due on the invoiced goods.

If the tires were $1000 they would charge you the $130tx and the $64 fee.
They pay the tax when they bring them across the border.

Thats it. Cross Border Pickups. So easy. Some companies do not ship to Canada - so this is useful for that as well. Good for Ebay and any kind of shopping.
Companies want $40 to ship a small package to Canada but only $8 to ship to Niagara Falls. Small package fee is $9 to bring to Mississauga. Save cash doing that too.

Thanks for the info... Next time for sure, this might have saved me around $150!

This the nasty gunk I cleaned out of the intake after the first 6500km without a catch can...
As you can see, the stock CCV line was also full of oil
Thank goodness I didn't wait any longer for this mod...

Gross! Hopefully the catch cans keep that intake tube cleaner. Is that an intake muffler?

Yes, the white piece is the intake 'muffler'... It was also somewhat effective at trapping a *portion* of the blow by. The intake tube is in two pieces you can separate to pull the muffler out; it was by far the dirtiest piece.

I will post catch can results at 1000km (probably this weekend). After about 800km so far the results are substantial in both cans.

This is what the Mishimoto cans picked up after 1000km...I plan on taking the intake back apart after approximately 3000km to compare the findings to what I had cleaned out before.

Also uninstalled and weighed the kit... For those of you who have installed the kit I recommend going back and checking all fittings while the engine is warm. I had to tighten nearly every fitting and the tap was lose enough that it changed from the rear position to the front position. Also when I pulled the tap out (gently) the rubber oring was gone... Luckily they include extras

Everyone ready for some REAL data?
This setup is fully expandable to monitor everything you could dream of... Let me know what data you guys would be interested in seeing. I'm starting with the basic kit and will add sensors as needed for testing.

Racepak GPS unit is in... Camaro is coming out of storage this weekend and is having the majority of its fluids changed. Then I can get to work on a quick release braket for the digital Racepak dash and get to the install; can't wait to start logging data and pour over it

The basic kit does the following:
track mapping, lap times/number/distance, segment times, miles per hour, lateral G-force, and acceleration G-force. With 128 MB of memory over 20 hours of GPS data can be stored. Optional dash display shows lap times, lap number, per lap gain/loss, gear indicator, progressive shift light, battery voltage, G-forces and RPM.

After that, they have literally EVERY sensor you can dream of that will simply plug inline (Their 'Vnet' system, every sensor can just daisy chain off the next one) that can be added at anytime...also video overlay with 3rd party software.

Here's a link to their sensor page: https://store.racepak.com/product-category/sensors/
