Will the drive be comfortable? maybe changing the 20" wheels for smaller ones for less road noise.
I did LA, Lone Pine Death Valley Las Vegas, Flagstaff, Phoenix in 3 days in a 2016 V-6 rental Camaro.... ran great... very comfy.

Bear in mind that bad winter weather is possible on that route for the next 3 or 4 months so I'd keep an eye out.

For example, last Friday the northern half of the state received about 18" of snow while the southern only saw 1.

I had a hip replacement 3 years ago. In my 2014 Mustang my right leg would start going to sleep after a half an hour of driving, In my 1999 Buick Lesebra it takes about 2 hours, I took my 2016 base 1LT on a 9 hour trip each way. It took 4 1/2 hours before my leg started bothering me, I got out just long enough to have some lunch and coffee, and I was good for the rest of the trip. These are very comfortable cars.

Interesting thread. I plan on driving from north VA to camarofest (bowling green, KY) this year in my 2016 RS manual. should be about a 10 hour trip. i'm more worried about road chips and stuff to the front bumper. you guys think a camaro nose mask be enough?

I like the nosemask on phastek website:

One of the reasons I sold my Harley. Not an issue with the SS!
