Looks like it has a lower profile and the rear seems to be shorter more C7 Vette like.

Its not a GM problem that people are too stupid to understand that a paint with pear, etc in it looks different at different angles. There is nothing to correct.

Just that the slight lines of the actual grill you can pick up under the mesh don't show a grill anything close to this.

Not saying it looks bad just that the few shots that show just a hint of the real opening aren't in line with this.

Many complaints came into GM so document/bulletins #2346049 and 09-08-51-004 were released on 9/10/09 re: PERCEIVED PAINT MISMATCH. Tran tuned into camaro5 on 9/17/09 in which 115 post followed. Do a search @ 1/4 panel paint match. Like I said days ago, I hope GM has corrected this problem on the 6th gen..

I understand what you are saying. The way the quarter panel meets the back edge of the door is very angular. I expect an overall smoother shape with the C6.

Fuel Filler Location...

Not sure if anyone has already discussed this but I think that we can resolve which side of the car that GM will put the fuel filler on and not be fooled by the obvious attempt to confuse us in these spy photos.

The spy photo's so far place a cover on both side of the car but the right side would seem to be the obvious location unless they change it just for the Camaro which would seem to be an unnecessary cost. But the fuel door is placed forward of the rear wheel arch if you go by the cladding patch as compared to the actual location on the other alpha chassis mates, the CTS and ATS pictured below. The bigger patch after the supposed fuel door disguise may be the true fuel door which is further away from the passenger compartment.

The CTS and also ATS fuel door is on the right side as is most of the recent GM cars but not to include body on frame trucks and suv's.

Putting the fuel door on the passenger side makes no sense.

Thanks. With all the complaints I'm hoping GM has addressed the issue.

I think it's time for some more "leaked caught, captured, media hyped" photos.

Supposedly at the January 15 Detroit Auto Show, but that may still be speculation.

Well it had better have more excitement and edges/curves going on in its side profile than that boring ATS coupe shown above.

That, coming from a guy that really likes the ATS, but the coupe is about as excitng as a Civic from the side in my opinion.

There needs to be more going on there

I wonder if they're going to be doing it like with the coyote. Smaller frame and all but the car ended up weighing 84 lbs heavier than its predecessor. :( I really hope this ends up having more power while weighing less than 5th gens.

The Mustang was already light. The 5th gen has a greater chance of losing weight.
