I was thinking to cut down on the cost I could have the tires removed and ship them separately. That would do a couple things, it would get each package under the magical 50 pound mark and make it way easier to box the rims since the tires can be shipped unboxed.

Truck freight on one skid would probably be cheaper then 8 shipments.

Bought wheels and tires from member in N. Carolina and used Shipnex. Thought price was reasonable. They showed up perfect and early. Maybe $350ish insured.
