I know how many 2017 Camaro ZL1 came in HBM. They also told me how many ZL1 total came with A10s, then with G96 eLSD, and the IO6 Infotainment.. Since all of those are 1 of 2 option sets, you can calculate out the full configuration of those with MN6 or MX0, or IO5 vs IO6 or when knowing the G96 option, you now know how many came as convertible because they're the only ones that came with non-eLSD for ZL1.

They can't tell you how many came with PDR or exposed CF hoods.

Had all this data 2 months ago, but they didn't want people publicizing it.. Now that they've kinda done it, I don't feel so wrong about it.

What I'm disappointed in, is Chevy's lack of desire to really keep up with data points that they will already have since they're the ones that build it. Everyone submits digital orders these days, so, for them to build the car, they'd have to know what options were ordered and where it was ordered from to get back there... This is all computerized for sequencing of parts along the various stations and booths, so I don't buy the "we don't know" routine. It's more lack of concern of that level of detail to maintain. This is all basic report writing and dB work and nothing more. You'd think with the community surrounding certain GM cars, they'd care a little more about more details since it seems every year, people want the numbers.

It's not like a person has to go through paper orders like days of old. The last step in the process, as it rolls off the line, could be a store command being sent to their systems recording the final completion of a 2018, Camaro ZL1, A10, Mosaic Black, Coupe, No Sunroof, that did not have PDR, but did have exposed CF hood and didn't get Nav.... It's literally on the build sheet and was already coded so they could build the car.. Also, it's textual data here, so we're not talking about untold TB or PB of media files and such.. it's some of the easiest compressible data there is and have multiple and easily done in code sorting methods as well.
Thanks so much for this info! Yes, I agree that it wouldn't be that hard to pull the data out of their database, but perhaps they just don't want to have to keep responding to hundreds of email requests. Not sure how much demand there would be, but I would love to have that service.

My car is a 2016 1SS, grey interior, Blue Velvet exterior, and a blade spoiler. The thing is, the blade spoiler was only available to order on a SS in the last 1 or 2 weeks of the 2016 ordering schedule (because of the wing spoiler hole issue), and Blue Velvet went away for 2017. So it is entirely conceivable that I may have a 1 of 1 for an SS in Blue Velvet with the Blade spoiler.

Just doing the math from the numbers posted,

2016 total Camaros produced = 53540
total 2016 in Blue Velvet = 1902 which = 3.55%
total 2016 in 1SS w/ Ash Grey interior form = 281 which = 0.52%

If I take the 53540 and take 3.55% and then take 0.52% I get 9.988 or roughly 10 cars built to those specs (not exactly accurate of course because all 281 1SS's w/ Ash Grey Interior COULD have ordered the Blue Velvet, we just don't know).

So how many of the 10 or so cars added the blade spoiler in the last week or two of the ordering cycle? Could be, I have the only one from the factory like this. And since you can't get the Blue Velvet anymore, it will remain that way. And since the blade spoiler wasn't very well known at that time and with such a short ordering window available, I may have 1 of 1 or 1 of a handful of SS's of any kind (1SS, 2SS, grey or black interior) in Blue Velvet with the blade spoiler.

It would be nice to know...

Interesting the 1LS was offered to boost sales sales but has almost no volume at all. GM marketing team that came up with that is probably the same ones behind the stupid commercials.

Thank you Mr. Wyndham for posting the numbers! I am 1 of 46 (LT4&MJK 8Cyl Man)

My original guess of total 2017 ZL1 volume was also very close...!

So how many A10 HBM in 2017 did they tell you were made?

That is only for 2017 Camaro ZL1 in HyperBlue.. Not with pref to M6 or A10.. They don't have it to that detail, sadly. So, there's 409 in total regardless of coupe/vert or manual/auto.

So if my math is correct using the numbers from the spread sheet. My car could realistically be 1-23 or less. Arctic Blue 1SS/1LE

Ok, so only 1512 1LE SS models in 2017? That's pretty cool. When I got my HBM, it was the only one available in the Bay Area. No wonder they wouldnt deal on it.

Seems odd. They have it broken out for Krypton Green. I would think they could do the other colors. I have to guess that with the transmission delays there were many 2017 A10's period. Anyone seen any numbers on the total A10's produced for YM2017 ?

Paint color #'s for 2016 are in the 1st post, from which you can make your own graph. You can try emailing gmhc@gm.com or socialmedia@gm.com with your specific question, but it's unlikely they can give it to you. They will tell you what they can and ask you to keep it to yourself.
