Warranty Question about Radio
I purchased a 2018 camaro 1LT with rs package. I did not get the radio I liked when I purchased and was wondering if I purchase another stock radio that has the illuminated strip around the top and have it put in will that void my warranty or will I have any issues installing and programming.
Can anyone assist?? |

Chevy dealerships are really weird about the the radio.
The Infotainment radio in my wife's 2014 Impala did not come with the nav feature. The dealer said they would only replace it with the same make/model. They said the higher end nav feature had to be installed at the factory and they would not retrofit them. However, I have read where third party vendors can install Infotainment radios with nav, but it is a costly upgrade. It might be worth calling your dealer's service department and see what they say. If you choose to go third party, it is at your own risk and might void the warranty.
