I did it...
I know I've been asking a lot of questions on here for a while in regards to getting a new Camaro, and everyone has been really helpful with their advice and the majority suggested I wait it out. I was considering doing a balloon payment or an 84-month finance on a 2016 2LT to lessen the monthly payments.
But I just couldn't wait and this weekend I went ahead and leased a 2017 1LT/RS. Hyper Blue, black interior, black wheels, black bowties, sunroof, premium audio, dual exhaust. 39 months at $368 a month (was supposed to be $359 but my credit is just below Tier 1 so payment went up a little). $2500 down but after first month payment, DMV, taxes, etc I paid about $5100 out of pocket. Selling the used Jetta I bought that I was going to drive for $2500, so that will lessen the hit I took out of pocket. I also got the maintenance package at no additional cost so all oil changes, tire rotations, air filters, etc will be free!  Yeah, I probably should've waited a while, but I just couldn't stop thinking about the damn car. Have been wanting one for 7 years ever since I got rid of my 2010 Aqua Blue Metallic that I loved so much. I'll have to work a little extra harder, but the payments are doable for me and I'm okay with that. I'm 26 years old and will be 29 when the lease is up. I figured why not finish out the last few years of my 20s with a car that I've been dreaming of lol. Anyway, here she is:
