I seen one in Houston on my way out of there.... Had a car pulled over on the highway and blacked out with the lettering ghosted on... It was damn sweet to see one in action!

You're actually correct truckenbroad, they can't arrest anyone in this car, they would need to call another unit with a cage in the back.

I was told today about traffic stops and citations. But they could also code 4 a perp from this car and then call another car to transport.

chevy really needs to make a striped down cheap, 426hp+ version like the b4c package of the 3/4 gen from the new version camaro. wouldnt feel embarrassed getting pulled over if something like that pulled me over

Not sure. Hoover, AL has a Porsche all decked out as a DARE car. I figured it was some kind of seniority thing.

They brought that out when the Hot Rod Power Tour came through. Did a mock police chase on the autocross with it and a Vette.

Speaking of, Gadsden, AL had a couple of 2nd Gen, don't remember if they were Camaros or Firebirds. Anyway, they were confiscated, blacked out, systems in them. So they turned them into DARE cars. You'd always see them at the car shows throughout the 90's.

We definitely have a couple of unmarked Mustangs and Camaros in the state. Have to watch out these days.
