I will wait another two weeks, because the car was mostly used at night this past week and kept in garage during the day, therefore no sunlight hit it at all.
Will try leaving it outside for a week or two.

I saw the thread you created about your plasti dip. That company charges a pretty penny. I would ask if they used rds or self thinned it. I would expect top notch since they are almost 1.5-2 times the cost of the competition.

Do you think the heat from the engine compartment reacted different to the plasti-dip vs no heat from the roof and spoiler?

If it doesn't come around soon I would have it professionally detailed. They probably have better compounds, polishes, and a high end buffer that you may not have.

I think it's the material, because gas cap also faded. Why is that you think?

I have similar issues, also a SW owner and it's because I guess I park outside, in direct sun. Bought the car with all panels matching. I know this because the other SW was noticeable, mine was not. Fast forward 2.5 years and I have different whites on different parts of the car. Can't be mad because I couldn't do anything to prevent it. Car still looks sexy as hell. I too think it's the material. Paint used for plastic is allegedly different from paint used for the metal parts. Don't have any sources but anyone please feel to chime in here.

That is weird my roof is Plastidipped but I have not removed it yet, been on for a year. My wheels are also done, been redone once with no issues. I use to have my front bumper done (under the bottom grill before I got my splitter) it was on for almost a year and no issues when I removed it.

I hope you get it figured out. Sux for sure

I agree. Personally I would use vinyl instead of plasti dip.

That being said vinyl isn't perfect either. My stripes are vinyl and eventually they will fade according to my vinyl guy. My car is garaged most of the time though so it will probably take longer than most. He told me that once I remove the stripes I would probably be able to see where the came off if they are on there for a while. It will be from the minor scratches though. The area under the stripes won't be scratched but outside the stripe will have micro scratches.

Also, I've gotten a few little nicks in my stripes mostly on the hood. I think it's due to the engine heat softening up the vinyl and then if a rock or something hits it the nick will happen.
