Ticks me off! Camaro trunk!

Trunk on my CAMARO keeps opening every time I put my keys in my pocket. As soon as I walk in my house. CLICK !!!!
Does this happen to you? Ticks me off! What about you?

And dont say. Keep them in your hand. With two little boys running around and book bags. My hands are full.

Yes, I have had mine for seven years and if there is anything I don't like is the "automatic" trunk opener. It doesn't happen all the time but when it does i have just put it in gear.

Yeah, one of my last favorite things about my Camaro. I keep my keys away from everything in my pocket as much as possible and take them out when I get in the house.

Happens to me ALL the time. Whether keys in my pocket, or my knee hitting the button on the door.

I've never clicked my key button accidentally. That's really odd.

I mistakenly open the trunk on my '10 SS by bumping the button on the inner door panel.
With the key pad, not so much.

Never happened to me when I had just the switchblade key. After recall, it happens about once every eight weeks. In my pocket, the ring hits the button. I never keep my car key and my other keys on a common ring, or even in the same pocket. Before the key "upgrade" (rolls eyes) I carried just the switchblade, nothing attached to it. I cannot figure out how the fob attached to a key is "safer" but hey, who am I.
