Apple car play?
How do I start Apple car play? Bluetooth? USB? Have had my car for a while now and have never used it.
*Update* thanks guys for your answers below :] I'm guessing my USB ports in the arm rest do not work. My cable is good and new but when I plug my iPhone in it does not even begin to charge... Is there something else I'm not doing? Last edited by Ant_ss; 02-22-2016 at 06:52 AM. |

To test if the cable or phone is the problem when you plug it into the USB in the center console the Icon that says projection should tune to carplay Your phone should as well.
If the Icon does not change then it's your Phone or cable. Joey |

I believe the phone is the problem here. it's an iphone. Head to pretty much anywhere and replace with a decent android device

9 times out of 10 when I have a carplay issue, I have to restart my phone or power completely off then on. The lightning cords always seem to have their special issues as well unless its an oem apple cord. Verify its not the cord or phone by plugging a usb stick in one the ports with music files on it. If the usb's read the flash drive theres your answer.
