Matte black Forgestar wheels before and after using Adams Severe swirl remover - Wow!

When I bought a set of Matte black wheels for my ride, I was very disappointed and under informed about how much maintenence they would be to keep looking sharp. After taking my car through the car wash a few times, and using chemicals I probably shouldn't have used on the wheels, they looked terrible. Well, since I have the day off for Presidents day, and not much else to do I thought I would try and revive my wheels... Well 1 wheel...haha!

So at Camarofest last summer, Dylan from Adams showed me how I can care for my wheels using waterless wash and svrt compound. This worked to a degree, but would not get out the tough stains. So I tried the severe swirl remover. After a lot of elbow grease and about an hour for just (1) wheel you can see the before and after shots. Wow what a difference! This is only my first pass and will be going over again for the spots I missed this spring, but I am very impressed. This is the ONLY stuff that could get out the nasty stains and haze on my wheels.

Keep in mind if you have similar wheels it will take at least 1 hour for each wheel. I will still need to clean them up some more.

looks good...after doing a complete clean it will get easier to maintain as long as you stay on top of it.

Nice save! Hit them up with some of Adam's Quick Sealant also - works wonders.

Nice write up. Looks like you ran over a squirrel in the first pic and it got caught on the rotor lol.

Great job!

I think I remember hearing you discussing this with Dylan, I was in the tent also.

Make sure to hit them with some Quick Sealant to lock in all your hard work.
