Who is still taking their GEN5 Camaro's to car shows?

Now that there are so many Camaros on the road I'm curious who is still taking their cars to car shows. My SS is special to me, but because there are so many on the road now that I don't feel the general public thinks that they are special in any way.

We have 25+ in our Camaro club & we schedule about 15 shows a year. I attend a few of the shows but not with my car, strictly an observer. If the show is a GM or Camaro specific I will normally attend with my car but not just general car shows.

Face it fellow GEN5 owners we had a great run but I don't feel that the general public has much interest in looking at any GEN5 Camaro's. I have also overheard more than 1 person say this exact same thing "there are Camaro's all over the place, I can't understand why these pompous Camaro dudes think that they any longer special enough to be in a car show".

So how many of us fellow GEN5 owners still attend car shows with their cars?

I take my car to shows but my car stands out a bit from other 5th gens. Plus I've done a lot of cosmetic stuff. I look at my car as a show car. I think there are a lot of very generic looking camaros, but when one is done right it looks awesome and stands out from the rest

I'm actually planning on attending the next Super Chevy Show in the spring. That will be the 1st time I've ever had a car in a show.

Our club has quite a few custom 5th Gen's and we attend many shows throughout the year. The majority of shows we go to usually benefit a charity so we attend to support them.

I take mine as a none judged normally. Z/28s are rare to see, people should know they exist.

Being a member of SCPA5, we attend a lot of car shows. We have all put a lot of work into our Camaros and we are proud to show them. I'd say, if you have a bone stock Camaro, there is not much to see (been there, done that). However, if you've added some nice, tasteful mods and have made the car stand out, people will enjoy the spectacle. JMHO.

A girl in our club owns this one and it is super clean. Plus the kids go nuts when they see it.

I am a new 5th gen owner. I have been trying to break into the local C5 scene but have definitely found it to be harder to get a group of folks together in my area than i had imagined. I am not sure if that is because people are loosing interest or if i just happen to be in an area with fewer enthusiasts.

Regardless, i have no intentions of entering in any shows. My car is bone stock so i am not turning any heads. I do however like the idea of networking with and making some friends who share similar interests. That's why i would still go to shows.

I'm lucky. In my area we are over run by Mustangs And I still get compliments on my 5th Gen I've only seen a couple of 6 Gens in my area, so I think the 5th Gen will be popular for a long time.

I find them much safer than going to cars and coffee where there are Mustangs.

I go to car meets to meet friends and ppl that are crazy into cars, also could share some experience and stories. If just for sake of wanting compliments for my rare car, I probably won't go until I have a Pagani Zonda.
