Keep them for sure! Then paint the calipers red to seal the deal!

Reading the thread title, I had my mind made up before I came in. Then when I saw your car, I immediately changed my mind. I've never been a big fan of hash marks or added graphics of any kind, but I think yours look great on your car. I vote to keep 'em.

I am not a fan of Hash Marks, but these look ok by me. The real question here is, Why is your Camaro out in the rain?

ya i never take my camaros out in the rain but I had to pick it up as the next day was going to snow and if they put salt down it was not suppose to rain for another week. I couldn't wait that long to pick it up.
just about everyone says to keep the hash marks but I dont know. I prefer paint and low key. im really liking the blacked out debadged look. Ill keep the red SS badges but i think i want to remove the vinyl and side badges.

No offence to anybody who digs them,,, but to me, they look too stuck on, and steal your eyes away from the great line of the Gen6,,,, my 2 cents

I ordered my car with the hash marks, the dealer put them on and I didn't like them.
The real questions is if they make you happy or not...if not, take them off.

Interesting - 1/3rd of votes say remove them.
They originated from the 1963 LeMans GS Vette's. Revived by GM on the 96 GS Corvettes. That said - I think the fad has run it's course. Pretty cool 10 yrs ago. They are everywhere now on all makes for no reason. Time to go bye-bye along with OCC stickers & peeing Calvin stickers. 2 cents |

I told the detailer to remove them and the side badges. I was going to do them myself last night but i got mandated for 8 hour at work so couldn't do it.

I don't think they've run their course.....I think the factory design leaves lot's to be desired. Didn't like the design on the factory 5th gens hash's either. If fender hash marks are done right they do add to a car, but get 'em wrong and meh, so getting them right is the trick. imho and .02
