ok, this is spooky.
My car started to form rust bubbles on both of the rear quarter panels. The EXACT same location as everyone else. Fortunately, I took it to a professional body shop that does a great job. Now, 100% good as new...well, because it is new metal (no bondo). |

This is why I'll never buy another Michigan vehicle ever again. The weather, combined with the insane amount of salt they put on the roads, makes everything rust within a couple of years. My SS came from South Carolina, my Firebird from North Carolina, and even my daily driver VW Golf came from Virginia. And after just ONE Michigan winter, my Golf is starting to get rust. My Firebird has been in Michigan for 16 years and has never been on the road once in the snow, and is 100% rust free. The only good thing about Michigan rusting everything are the thousands of LS donor vehicles with relatively low miles, lol.
