The HUD is nice but I dont hardly notice it now. I still find myself looking at the Speedo.

HUDs are just an expensive gimmick. Yeah... it's cool looking and all and some would try to justify the need as it being a safety feature (so your head and eyes are still "up" looking through the windshield where they should be). In reality if your eyes are focused on the HUD info, you still wouldn't see that semi pulling out in front of you until it was too late - no different than looking down at your DIC. (I love how that came out )

FE4 works very well I think. Also the cradle bushings were stiffened (no voids) and you get electric power steering. The heater hoses are routed to the side instead of right on top of the intake manifold. MyLink on the '12s? Can't remember.

Keep looking.

No Mylink on the '12 either.

the 10' has vitesse Paddleshift and I fell on love with the cyber gray color and carbon fiber stripes

the 12' is transformers Ed bone stock ...

please some help here... I really what to know if the 2010 camaro is inferior in performance

Thanks

Lots of differences. I just don't know how important many of them are to you.

2012-11s have FE3 suspension, 2012+ have FE4. The main difference is the sway bars and how the rear bar attaches to the LCAs. Shocks and bushings are slightly upgraded also. The 2010 can be upgraded to FE4 specs with either factory or aftermarket parts.

2010s don't have the mounting pads for the factory strut tower brace. 2011.5+ have these and they are pre-drilled and tapped.

2010-11s have a unique Camaro steering wheel and air bag. 2012+ have a generic GM parts shelf steering wheel and air bag. The 2010-11 wheel looks better, but the 2012+ wheel feels better.

2012+ have a leather faced dash.

2010s don't have HUD. 2011+ do have HUD.

Early 2010s don't have back-up sensors. Late 2010s+ have back-up sensors.

2012+ have rearview cameras and a LCD display in addition to the back-up sensors.

2010-11s have power drivers seat and manual passenger seat. 2012+ have power seats on both sides.

2010-11s have the door lock switch on the HVAC controls. 2012s have door lock switches on the door panels in addition to the ones on the HVAC controls

On 2012+ RSs, the "Shark Fin" is painted body color. It's black on 2010-11s.

On the 2010-11s the heater hoses are routed over the engine. On 2012s+ the heater hoses are routed along the frame rail.

I'm sure there's more, but that's all I can think of, off the top of my head.

No electric power steering or My Link on 2012s. Those along with the wheels were the changes for 2013.

To each their own. I've had HUD in my cars for 12 years now (first the GTP and second the Camaro) and I've never been "distracted" by it. In fact, driving cars without it is just irritating now

HUD was a MAJOR factor in me deciding to wait for the 11s vs getting a 10.

As for the suspension I don't really know what the differences are. If your going to upgrade I guess it doesn't matter. I am in the process of upgrading mine.

I bought a 1ss I didn't know that a 2ss existed and my salesmen never mentioned it. Now my car is pretty much converted to a 2ss minus the HUD which is going to be installed this weekend with the help of Camaro_RS

I plan on doing the supercharger at the end of the month or in January. If I could do it all over again I would have just bought a 2ss to begin with but hindsight is always 20/20

There's no difference in the grilles and spoilers between 10, 11, 12, and 13. That's a GM accessories Heritage Grille and a GM accessories 3-piece spoiler, that you have, and they are both dealer installed items. The only thing different about 2012+, is that they allow you to order those along with the car and Oshawa paints them and ships them to the dealer for installation. They may have been on the car when you bought it at the dealer, but they weren't on it when it left Oshawa. When you order that spoiler Oshawa builds the car without any spoiler or spoiler holes at all, then they ship a painted spoiler to the dealer for installation.

2012 also has leather on the dash and around the radio. It adds a nicer touch to the car.

2013 is the most in changes with the redesigned mirror, dual not just single power seats, with revised bolstering, with electric power steering, with redesigned rear endsuspension toe links going outside the shocks, with mylink, with the camera displayed on the mylink screen. And the redesign of the wheels. Just those things are a bundle worthy of considering a 13............

The steering is more comfortable, the steering wheel, especially the horn button, is different, and the front bumper skin is more angular (pointed in the front).
