I am always amazed at all of the people that want to race me when I'm driving the ZL1. I must admit that the best was when I stopped for gas and saw one of the highway patrol chargers at the pumps. I walk in and the trooper is standing there and says, "Nice car", I said thanks and kept walking and then he raises his voice and says, "bet I can beat it" I stopped dead in my tracks turned around and said "bet you can't and if you give me a pass I'll prove it to you..." He just stood there with a stern look on his face and after a couple of seconds I turned around and continued to the bathroom. When I came out he was gone.

This...
Got to admit, I've been that guy. I'm sure we all have at one point or another. I do my best to keep my need for speed in check, the car is so damn fun though. I was going to a closed track about once a month to do that but then there was a fatal accident there so the city blocked it off. Though I was planning to do this anyways, it looks like autocross will be my fix now. First event for me is next Saturday, and coincidentally occur about once a month. Hopefully I can get into some HPDE too.

...rivalry....respect your enemy, without them there would be no competition.

I heard on the 2015 Mustang they are changing the Grill emblem from a side view of a horse to just a rear view since owners like to act like the south end of a north bound horse..
Just Joking, really like someone else said there are people like that that drive every model car.

That is correct in Colorado Springs those idiots are driving Subaru WRX's I laugh and then tell them to Google ZL1 stats versus their car. If they want to know what a sports car will do then go buy a ZL1! |

Inverted
That's funny same thing happens to me every time I take out my 03 Cobra vert. But it is usually Camaros. I believe its just the brand competition thing. Appears that Morons drive all brands.

I've seen plenty of Camaro drivers act the same. It's not the Mustang, it's the person who gets a hold of it.

It's funny, that never happens to me either. They (mustangs, challengers, r/t's) back off and stay clear as soon as they hear my ZL1..Only one bmw got way too close behind me and then thought he might pass me..hehe think again..
