I would rather just have it upgraded without the name.

I bet, that's an additional $15,000 on the top of approximately priced $65K ZL1. That bring it to an $80K car. Personally, if I were to spend that kind of cash for a performance car, I'd buy a Z06, the king of American performance car.

While you overpay for it, the name also keeps your full factory warranty and ability to resell it. Have fun trying to resell a modded ZL1...or ripping out the mods to return it to stock. Everything has its pros and cons.

Other shops give warranty, but I would be keeping the car. Most people who mod don't care about the warranty.

Hopefully this one won't get hit in the staging lanes by an unfortunate application of throttle by a Ford coupe.

Very odd. Talk about getting in on the ground floor. They aren't even showing a ZL1 in the ad. It's the other car that they have been promoting.

I don't think the ZL1 exists yet, outside of a few prototype cars. But the CTS-V does, in a similar chassis configuration

I am not sure which one my wife likes more, the civility of the Caddy or the raw nature and looks of the ZL...

Looks like a SS with the LT4 supercharger. ADM Performance has the exact same package.

I would love to see a chassis dyno for one of these.

The picture in the article is totally not a ZL1, it's Callaway Camaro SC610

That's mentioned at the bottom of the article, it's just that the 9 photos are also top-linked as well

"Images of the Callaway Camaro SC610 are shown below."

Looks like a GenThree TVS 2300 about to transform the stock CTS V

Back to the Camaro - I am not sold on the stock hood configuration for the SC610 - it looks too busy to me, but...the ZL1's carbon fiber insert looks custom made for the TVS 2300 - that should be awesome
