I looked at that first. With the TRD package. Its tested and true but once I test drove it the 10 year old style and running gear seemed kind of boring. The dealer let me walk out when I told them i wanted the 3m on the front. They said no. The Titan with the Pro x4 gives you alot more bang for the buck.

I bought a 1500 LT Z71 last year. I had to take it home on the test drive to see if it would fit in my garage. Door closes with about 5 inches to spare with just enough room in front to squeeze by to get to the workbench

The diesel is the Titan XD. It has the same interior as mine which is awesome. It is a ft longer. When I bought mine there was a couple who had just bought the same truck as i did but with rhe diesel....i asked them how they liked it. They said overall a fantastic truck. The test drive is the cli cher for me. Go try one outfor sure. Sorry that i cant give you a personnal comparison...but the couple were farmers and did test drive both. But choose rhe diesel because of motor plus they wanted a longer box....but that truck was stunning.
