What to use to Clean Black Satin OEM Wheels

New owner of a Camaro 2SS that came with the Black Satin wheels and I wanted to check with everyone on safe products to use to clean them.

With past cars I have used wheel cleaners to help with brake dust and road grime, but was not sure if this is safe on this type of finish. Should I just stick to soap and water or are wheel cleaners safe as well?

Any insight is greatly appreciated!

Yup, dawn dishwashing detergent, then a wipe on polymer like blackfire Crystal seal.

Many ways to do this.

Avoid wheel cleaning chemicals. GM / Dealership replaced all of my wheels because the paint was coming off. I was using the standard wheel cleaners from the local Autozone. The dealership said soap and water only from here on out. The paint on the wheels is very delicate and scratches easily, so be careful. As soon as I got the new wheels I CQuartz'd them and also use TAC System Water Glass. Very easy to clean now, especially since the Powerstop brake pads do not dust much
