I have an early fifth gen and I love it...a lot. Two thoughts:
1. I ordered my car in December and received it in June. That was part of the story of buying a brand new model. It went through the quality hold, and has been nearly perfect. Worth the wait. So, those of you struggling with the wait, take a deep breath, it's part of new model release, and will be worth it!
2. I'm sure of the above, because I had the opportunity to drive a new 2SS around the block today, and......wow, just WOW! Much as I love my fifth gen, the Six is absolutely terrific! "Home run" does not come close...maybe "walk-off grand slam" would be closer!
