Ruined my Zl1 Replica Rims!.......someone help

Long story short, one day after work I was tired and was looking for something to put on my rims to give them a great shine. I came across "DUPLI COLOR" . Yes it said "shine" on rims so I bought it without thinking next thing I know I'm spraying my shiny rims satin black does anyone know how to get this dupli color off? If so please help because it seems nothing like a plasti dip and more like a spray paint

Yikes. You mean the Dupli-color tire shine product or one of their paint products? If it wasn't the 'tire shine' duplicolor product, then you probably just spray painted your wheels with uh, paint.

If it was the tire shine stuff, get some kind of strip soap like Dawn and wash your wheels really well. Don't get the soap on the paint, it will strip the sealants/waxes you have on the car.

If you just spray painted your wheels, then uh, i'm not sure.

Pics?

If it's paint remove the wheel and Use a little paint thinner with microfiber towel and rub it down nice and easy

This is what a body shop would use (goof off and other products won't be as strong or would take much longer to take effect)

if its paint you might try a small spot of goof off FOR AUTOMOTIVE. Dont use the regular stuff.

Barring that they might have to go to a wheel repair place

I hope you began spraying one and realized it was the wrong stuff. You didn't paint them all I hope.

Find something really hard and then hit your head against it. That should help.

Then again, it's only one wheel, right? So get with Paul at PK here and order in another rim, chalk it up to a $500 learning experience.
