Hey tigger. I de-badged my entire carr and blacked out the front chrome and Chevy emblem. I personally think the fenders look much cleaner with the emblems off. I did however keep them just in case I sell the car and have to put them back on
I've some pics, but there on my computer at home. I'll post them when I get home. |

The emblem was LITERALLY a last minute slap on and should have just been left off.
Maybe they could have given it to you as a sticker in the owners manual packet, but generally.. it's just plain out of place and weird. |

Thankfully the ZL1 doesn't have fender emblems (have them elsewhere) so saved me from removing 'em...love the clean look on the sides.

I don't have any Pic's, But I think they look 100% better when completely De-badged. I removed side emblems, The HUGE Bowtie on the Decklid, Moved the SS emblem from the Lower left Rear Bumper to the right side of the Decklid and Painted the Front SS and Bowtie Body color (Hyper Blue) Looks MUCH Better INHO.

I used the braided fishing line trick, and then a bit of alcohol. Worked like a charm.
However, I did notice that on my passenger side, the paint was a tad indented from the emblem. Almost like the robot that stuck it on there pressed a little too hard while the paint was soft. The paint is smooth, but when the light hits it just right, you can see a dent (not sheetmetal dent, but perfect outline of the emblem). It's not residue, either. I've pointed it out, and no one else can see it. And, I can't even see if unless there's a bright light directly reflecting and I'm looking at about a 5* angle. In other words, I've seen it about 3x in as many months. Not enough to worry me one bit. |

Glad to know I’m not the only person who thought the awkward red white n blue emblem was an eye sore lol. Removed mines as well
