Looks like the same old gripe about visibility and throw in oil burning. But otherwise all positive

I have no issue with visibility. I think it's typical crap the automotive "media" finds to complain about. What about real sports cars like FTypes, Vettes, Vipers, 911's, etc. It's not a frickin family sedan, I don't quite get them. I did have better "visibility" out of my 15 Mustang GT, but nowhere near the driving experience and ride.

Anyone run into the oil usage issue mentioned?

I'm not checking my oil when gassing up.

Nope. Based on the comment, I checked the oil [4300 miles] and no sign of any loss.

By what is reported on this forum - the oil consumption problem seems to be a "one off" for the C/D car. It gets no real thread action on this forum. Mine has burned no extra oil for its first 9300 miles. I'm thinking this oil issue is as much a problem with under fills on the oil changes (they even admit one oil change was two quarts short) and misreads on the stick as it is true oil consumption.

I've been listening and reading the garbage comments about visibility ever since the gen 5 I bought back in Nov. 2009. It is so overblown as to be ridiculous. The mag writers have to have something negative for every car and visibility is the one they hang on the Camaro. I guess I'm different - its never bothered me on either car.

In all honesty, I do go through some. The closer to the top of the dipstick I run the car, the more likely it seems that I will consume some oil. I may add 1-2 quarts between oil changes. And it's not leaking it.

I daily drive the car, and often drive it like I stole it. And my last car, which had a LS engine, was much the same way.

On the visibility thing I was prepared to not get the Camaro because of it. Then I test drove it; concern gone in first minute.

The mirrors are perfectly sized & positioned to give good coverage around the car. Plus the warnings gizmos in the mirrors are terrific. And the back up camera eliminates vision issues when backing up.

It also helps my previous fun rides were a 350 Z & a 2011 Caddy CTS Coupe; both were actually worse with regard to vision
.

Some continue to wear the poor visibility as a badge of honor. It's a Camaro, not a Maclaren.

Just know it didn't have to be this bad. Could have looked awesome, had decent visibility and a decent trunk. GM just chose not to. No one is suggesting it be a min-van. Just decent or a slight improvement over the Gen5 (which you could get two sets of golf clubs in the trunk).
