Which state has the worst drivers? 🤗
I know a state popped into your head as soon as you read the tittle I live in NJ, for those of you who couldn't tell and I swear I'm best driver on these streets Based of my personal expertise of road operations, I nominate PA drivers and NY a close second, they all like to drive in the fast lane going only maybe 5 over the speed limit I know different places have different traffic patterns and people get used to driving where they're from but nobody cares when they're cursing out the car in front of them Sooooo which state do you think has the worst drivers???????

I guess it depends on what you mean by "worst". To me, worst is incompetence, inattention, slow, drifting in/out of lane. Fl is bad, nj,ny,- however, some of the most aggressive drivers are in Ct and especially Puerto Rico. Also constantly annoyed here in va with slow Sunday drivers clogging up the passing lane!

Actually I've also driven in Miami and I swear everyone was trying to get tanner while driving. All 4 lanes were going the same speed with no traffic ahead lol

yes, in new york they like to drive in the left lane going the same speed as the right lane. But i think everyone in the states does it. Only in europe they enforce that law. That's why europeans are lucky and can have the autobahn. That would never work here.
But besides driving in the left lane. I think there is a system to new york's madness. Drivers from other states think its crazy, and it is. But with such a big volume of traffic, if people didnt drive so close together and cut in front of each other the way we do, youd never get anywhere. My biggest pet peeve here in new york. When there is a line of traffic to get off an exit or somewhere else, you get cars zip to the front of the line and cut eveyrone off |

How about from a guy that travels the world and has driven in all 50 states many times...
FL, MA, and CA take the cake. ATL makes me a bit nervous, but it is only a part of Georgia. NYC can be trouble at times, but the state of NY in general isn't bad. I would say that NJ is a close second to the top three.

I can only speak of states I've lived in and driven in(about 20 total), that being said...VA takes the cake, to the point I now have a dash cam for this reason. Between the ridiculous speed limits(55 on a 4 lane freeway) and the idiot drivers going 35 on the left lane holding everyone back during rush hour, most people merging at 10mph on a freeway for no reason and the reaction time when a light goes from red to green of an average of 5 seconds... VA is the only state I have adjusted my work hours just to avoid traffic.

Sorry gals and guys but South Florida was just officially voted the Worst Place to drive in the US and 11th in the world. But.... do not fear we will do our best to crack the top ten next year!
