Arrow Vinyl Wrapping Side Skirts

Has anyone here tried wrapping some ZL1 (or similar) side skirts in vinyl? I would like to try this but im worried about how good it will look with all the contours of the pieces. I don't want to see seams or anything...
Anyone have good results with this?

I've not tried it but from experience with vinyl, I would assume you'd be safe. Paint is going to look better but you'd be ok with wrapping it (preferably by a professional). Too much heat and stretching would cause imperfections.

Thanks for the reply. I do think paint may look a little better but i like the idea of vinyl cause its easily replaceable. These skirts will pickup alot of crap from the road and get marked up pretty easily. Maybe $40 worth the vinyl later i can have it looking like new again.
I still haven't made up my mind yet but I may give it a try.

Not hard to wrap OFF THE CAR but will be a bit of hassle if mounted.

My car is wrapped and so is all my side skirts and splitters. In person it looks just like my Anderson composite carbon hood. In photos not as much. Anyone that walks up to my car thinks it’s real. According to my wrap guy. On the car is easier to work with.

There are many variations of the CF vinyl… Sone are close, others not close at all… But you can get samples of everything available for very little money at metrorestyling.com

I've been considering the same thing. Wrap comes in 5' widths. Looks like you would need to get a 7'x5' piece to not have a seam in it. The plus is that you could do both sides twice or more with that much wrap.

Glad to see others have tried vinyl on these! I was pretty torn between wrapping and painting them. I watched lethal camaro's video on his ACS sideskirts today and he wasn't to impressed with the paint job. wasn't horrible but definitely had some issues. Im thinking i'll just get em wrapped now since it can obviously be done and look good.

Thanks for the replies guys.

How much did the paint job cost you?

I'm figuring to go the wrapping route as well...

question for ya, when the wrapped it, did they wrap over top of the top edge or did they stop at the top?
