Yeah the truth is it actually costs anywhere from $200 (to ship within the lower half of CA) to $260 to go across the country. We just keep it at the flat rate of $200 and absorb the rest.

Heck, our splitters cost $160 to ship. We have to just cut the shipping price in half and add it to the product price or people would never buy lol.

Do you have a storefront or business address in Valley Village for those of us who frequent the area and would rather pick up in person? I stop by Frazier Park twice a month, and you're a little over an hour away.

We just signed the lease on a new shop in the valley. Should be set up for visits first of December.

Needed a bigger space to build the cars.

As far as shipping goes guys.. I cannot stress the dimensional weight that shipping companies use... if its a 5lb item in a 60x80x20 box its still going to cost alot to ship.. weight of the item has nothing to do with it once these boxes get this big. Dimensional weight is the largest of the 2 sides

For example a box that os 60 inches long by 40 inches high by 20 inches wide is a 346lb dimension weight package regardless of its actual weight thats what dimensional weight is. and any box over 130" in combined dimension is considered using the dimensional weight scale. with a MINIMUM billable weight of 90lbs though here is right from UPS

A Large Package Surcharge may apply to domestic and international shipments. A package is considered a "Large Package" when its length plus girth [(2 x width) + (2 x height)] combined exceeds 130 inches. Large Packages are subject to a minimum billable weight of 90 pounds.

I only know this because I sold some thomas the train beds on ebay once I got 90% off at toys r us.. they only weighed like 30lbs but billable weight was like 80lbs because how large the box was.

So for all of you guys I see this all the time on these forums complaining about shipping fees please try to understand how it all works on the backend before complaining.

Sorry we don't paint because the cost for us to get it is the same you'd probably pay local WITHOUT the risk of damage in shipping.

I preordered the IROC wheels on Saturday. Am I one of the first 25?

I just want to see what the ZL1 hood looks like as I might go this route over the OEM.

And it would be nice to see it on the car. Question, are there grills or a mesh in those louvers?

I didn't see any reference to spoiler installation online... unless I missed it?? Is drilling required, or does the spoiler utilize the OEM holes and hardware?

I like the hood, and I LOVE that spoiler. It's on my wishlist, but kids' and wife's birthdays and Christmas all hit in Nov/Dec, so likely next year before I get to spend money on myself again Looking forward to seeing the IROC next week, and installed pics of these parts in the near future.
