How to properly "double back" harness belts

I thought I'd post these pix, for anyone with race seats and harnesses, as there is a proper way to "double back" the harness belts and if this crucial step is not done properly, they will simply pull thru the buckles - in case of impact.

Here's a general idea of what "doubling back" means, borrowed from climbing (to illustrate it better), which follows the same principles for this automotive type of harness buckle design:

Here are 2 more illustrations:

First, shows properly doubled back harness belts on the driver side, but NOT doubled back on the passenger side. A second one is another illustration of incorrectly mounted harness belts. FYI:

Always double check your harnesses to ensure they are "doubled back". Lest you may be driving at speed with virtually ZERO protection from the harness belts. Play safe and have fun!

EDIT: also ALWAYS check somebody else's harnesses if that's what they have for safety restraints and you are about to either drive their car, or spectate as a passenger. NEVER hesitate to question this even if the owner is an experienced instructor, or even a pro, as it is YOUR a$$ on the line here.
