NAV

Did a search but couldn't find A answer. Is the mylink Nav tied to Onstar or Xm?

NAV uses GPS. It doesn't require OnStar or XM subscriptions.

Depends...

If you have the true NAV option on your vehicle then the NAV is independent as stated it uses a GPS antenna and a content disk that is loaded into the Infotainment system.

If you dont have the NAV option then the system uses the GPS antenna but goes thru Onstar in order to have them setup the route and then they download it to the vehicle for it to guide you,
