If you plan on going with Long Tube headers, forget about Catalytic Converters on a Forced Induction car. Went thru a couple of "high quality" High Flow converters pretty quickly.

So, if you are planning to keep a fairly stock lock to your exhaust, and want to pass emissions, then go with the shorty headers.

Can you explain a little more. I haven't noticed a problem with mine after about 10,000 miles of running long tubes and high flow cats.

Did He Ever Get His ZL-1 Replaced

Does anybody know if the guy who got his car used for a joyride by a service rep at a dealer then totaled ever get things squared away?

Did he get a new one, did the dealer step up or did he have to use his insurance.

He did get a new Camaro (on the way at least) and posted here, but the thread was shut down due to some of the comments being made.

He did. He got an even better one. Berger stepped up and worked with the dealer to get him one of their Berger specials.

Read the article and had to laugh at this:
The ZL1 is a high performance version of the popular muscle car that was developed for the track. With a 6.2-litre V8 that produces more than 400 horsepower, it carries a sticker of nearly $60,000.

While I guess it is a true statement that it does have over 400hp it kind of misses the mark. I guess this writer would say the SS has over 200hp. I guess fact checking costs too much money and takes too long these days.

Hey, if he's able to post about the car again, let's just please keep it positive and move forward.

Did he ever thank this board for its support? Without this board he would not have gotten what he wanted.

I would guess that part of the settle just might have been for him to refrain from posting anything about it anymore and just let the story fade away.
