8 times in two years? Sounds like your driving to me. As for stop signs, the law says the car must settle from all forward momentum or it is not considered a stop.

Me yes. Young black in a flashy car in the suburbs happens at least twice a month.

Haven't had an issue at all with the cops but the ones in my town drive police Chargers, for what that is worth.
However, when I am doing a bit faster than posted on the freeway, seems if I move over to let others pass, almost get a line of cars behind me like I will be the sacrificial lamb should anyone get pulled over, it will be me. Thank God for arrogant BMW drivers, they can't resist aggressively passing me by. |

I've only been pulled over twice, once after I got the car and my tags weren't in yet so I showed them the paper on the windshield, and the second time was at around 1 am after I got off of work I was heading home, and some new young cop who thought he was a hot shot pulled me over for "suspected drunk driving" ... After he saw that I was clearly sober he tries to tell me that I was swerving all over the road. I kinda pissed him off when I responded "well maybe if you didn't tailgate me with your high beams on I would be able to see." He told me in a smart ass way to go about my business. I respect all police, but this was just a new cop being a dick IMHO

When I was a young pup, at age 20, I counted 50 times that I had been pulled over in the previous two years. My record was being pulled over was four--- count 'em--- FOUR times in two hours (yes, that's barely enough time to finish one before getting red- lighted again). I thought it might have been for DWB, as many minorities will claim, but, dang it, I'm as white as Caspar the Friendly Ghost, I just drove like Caspar the Bat Out of Hell. This was in different cars, different times, different circumstances. It damn sure wasn't the car, it was the loose nut behind the wheel.
I'm 45 now, driving a yella Camaro. I'm not entirely tamed, still drive like a bat outta hell a lot (rarely does a full week go by that I don't see triple digits somewhere)... but am a little more clever in my ways. My registration is up to date, papers in order, and my haircut is neat and tight. I don't blow past places where the fuzz might be hiding out, and I don't haul ass through school zones. I don't have questionably- legal lights or accessories, and my muffler is stock. I help old ladies change tires, and I signal for lane changes. Haven't had a ticket in 10 years. Yes, been pulled over three times in that period, but, polite, respectful discussion has earned me verbal warnings, no more, every time. |

Only been pulled over once in my Camaro. Nice cop - said I was doing 81 in a 65, but I had my cruise set on 72. After a brief conversation about that, he then proceeded to ask me several questions about the car. Then he told me just to watch my speed and let me go, so.... I answered "Other".

Never , they just be staring and following alongside of my car looking at it and inside of it. It's kinda scary though because I be thinking that they're gonna pull me over but never do .
