I watched a good portion of the first two and decided that despite it being a very well crafted show, it just isn't for me. I still read the summaries on the wikia because I think the setting is interesting, and am wondering where it'll go, but it's an easy 3~4 mins as opposed to an hour and dealing with commercials.

Lori wasn't attacked. She died from the C-section. The zombie just ate what was left of her. So her remains are inside the zombie Rick killed.

Not all of her remains though, where are her skeletal remains? When I first saw that scene, I thought maybe Carl didn't shoot her and the blood trail was her crawling away in zombie form.

Carl didn't shoot Lori in the head. Lori is alive, found and revived by that other woman who escaped when the black guy was getting eaten. The CCTV system inside mechanical room is still online, also the phone system. Lori and that other woman are in the control room, calling Rick on the phone.

i am thinking that Lori is alive as well and that Carol found her and saved her.
