GMAuthority is again reporting that models equipped with Turbo Plus and HO engines, and 4WD are shipping as of today. Interesting 2WD is still out to dry, if the article can be believed. Though, they said they were shipping on the 13th which didnt end up being true, and no new information was reported in the article to explain what may have changes in the last 9 days.
2WD are being shipped now as well. There are some 2WD 2.7 Plus trucks showing 4200 status on the GM locator.

Very interesting, and good news for Fen haha.

Are you able to see when that one was produced? I know someone on the facebook group has a 4WD TB built 2/28 that hit 4150 today. My Z71 on order CFTH77 was built 2/6, so i am assuming it is 4150 too if a 2/28 is, so i wonder when that one you see was built.

It was built 3/17. it's possible that the 4200 shipped is actually just for them loading it up to be transported to the storage lot with the rest of the trucks waiting for final shipment. A lot of times it will show 4200 any time it's loaded onto a truck, whether it's to a storage lot or on rail car.

Wow. I think that is indicative of full mobilization of the full stock of produced Colorados then, and i have been withholding saying that for awhile.

I see Z71s and TBs hitting the public tracker now too. I havent seen ANY Nitro Yellow ones within 600 miles of me or Wentzville though. Can you see any in your system? Chevy chat just told me i’m still 4300 but ill call my dealer later to confirm.

Scratch that. I see 3 yellow TBs. No Z71s.

There are a bunch of nitro yellows, in all trims, that have been built.

Not impressive, but, truck is heavier than 2nd gen and this engine has so much more torque applied much lower in the band. It’s still a win I think.

The average consumer probably isnt buying it for its efficiency. I certainly am not

They could have put the 6.2 in it and probably gotten similar numbers.

Totally agree. It was never going to be very efficient. I don' think they're going mixed metals with the Colorado so I bet it weighs near Silverado weight. They wanted to simplify the powertrain lineup and I suspect they're trying to use boosted 4s whenever possible and V8s in trucks/suvs. I think i'm going to wait the 1st year out on this one and see what tweaks they make for 2nd MY, maybe full LCD guage cluster standard or part of tech pkg, etc.

I'd line up to buy 3 if they offered the 6.2
