My IOM with white stripes is my total mid life crisis car and I have no problem saying it, my friends laugh at me for it!! Bought it when I turned 40 last year. I hate being on the road and seeing only black, silver, grey cars (no offense). I think they are boring and everyone blends in. Have questioned for years why auto makers don't come out with more exciting colors, I get because most people do want to blend in, especially in a fast car.

I promised myself I would never ever buy a red car again (3 bad accidents, none my fault), orange is pretty close and it sure felt like the same bad luck for the first year I had in previous red vehicles. Otherwise RJT would have been my first choice.

I wanted a ABM in the worst way, just could not find one in my area, bought a Victory Red, I never really was a fan of red, put white strips on it, I like it more each day.

I totally agree with Jewell on this one. RJT is still sweet, 4 years after she was born. Great color!

Damn...after seeing everybody post their ages,I'm starting to feel young again...don't know why but always equate muscle car with youth...it seems that this car is the fountain of youth and everybody's getting a taste

Used Car dealer once told me that most everyone is attracted to the Red car and they are easier to sell. I like Red Hot 1LE

Me too, but I do like the white ones.

I love my silver with orange rally stripes but i wouldn't buy silver as a solid color choice. I don't regret it at all. I think contrasting accent colors are important with certain colors.

no regrets. I'm 58 and dont care a bit what anybody else thinks of my colour choice. And so far I have only gotten compliments about my car.
So dont worry about what your buddies think. and you are not old yet. 42 is still young from my point of view.
