5. To save weight, the anti-roll bar drop-links are plastic

The front anti-roll bar drop-links on the V-6 models are described as composite. But they are actually a high-strength plastic, not reinforced by any fibrous material.

Yes, that factoid raised my eyebrows, as well. The V-6 is my target model, I'm a low-stress "cruiser' kind of driver, and I was all ready to trade in my 2011 drop-top on the new convertible next summer. But this gives me pause about buying into the 2016 model year; I may just decide to wait until the 2017s are out, and they've replaced these plastic parts with something more durable.

I'm an avid photographer, and I'm all for engineering plastics on my interchangeable lenses, but suspension parts in an automobile are another thing entirely!

I'm keeping my '11 SS forever... I'm keeping my '11 SS forever...

Gonna need to start playing that message on an audio track while I sleep. 6th gen sounds better and better every day.

I've never wanted a new car so bad in my life but I'm just starting "baby step one" so Mr. Dave Ramsey won't let me buy one.
