That is interesting for your area. Not the same way for some areas. When I was looking for mine I searched 150 mile radius of my home town and only found 1 or 2 SS. If I searched near Atlanta I found 40-50. As far as the other models V6/V4 there were quite a few options near me, found about 40-50. Just depends on where you are and what the dealers ordered.

Where are you seeing the Mustang that cheap? The Build Your Own on the Ford site shows $35,995 after destination.

Unless you have a Mustang! I'm buying my GT out at the end of my lease and keeping it in hopes that GM keeps the $2000 conquest cash.

Bomnin has base 1SS's for $33,035. Those are the cheapest I've seen. $29,270 is pretty low for a base GT. I got mine for ~$32k and it only had the 3.55 rear and wheels for options. Where are you seeing 18's for under 30k?

He's likely quoting Koons price on the GT which is not the real price. Their price does not include freight or mandatory dealer fees so add $1300-1700 or so to that price.

It's too cheap to do, and definitely needed.

What nags at me is that Kise seems to be a decent, good member of Camaro6, I read some previous posts.

Plus, the Warren part seems legit and probable for full inside info.

Just a curious brain teaser, probably.

LOL - looks like you've seen some "changing" info too, by your join date.

To sum up, let's look to DGthe3's sig motto:

I also don't think they'd give up on a refresh either. The Camaro sales aren't doing too good. GM is smart enough to know that they need a refresh. The 6th gen has been around long enough at this point that GM knows what consumers like/dislike about the car.

Funny enough, I was thinking about that quote when typing that.. I just couldn't remember who's signature it was in.

If the Camaro needs a refresh due to sells then the 2018 Mustang also needs a refresh due to sales.

18 Mustang is leading the sales with a pretty big distance to Camaro and Challenger for the three months the car is out yet - And we're still mid-winter

The Mustang is outselling it's opponents by a good amount...

I know that’s crumbs to most but in my reality that’s a lot of money to someone looking for an entry-level performance car with a V-8. Also what I found interesting is there are more Camaro V8’s for sale in my radius then any other Camaro model by a 2/1 ratio so Chevy is definitely pushing the V8 or they are not selling. They must make a lot of profit off those loaded up models. I really believe a 30 to 32K price V-8 Camaro would sell ,but Like many of you have suggested the Mustang is a nice car also so I’m gonna wait until the 2019 reveal and if nothing is new , I’ll just order the mustang.
Do you mind posting a link to the 2018 Mustang GT for 29,270? .I've seen 2018 v8 Camaros advertised for as low as 31-32k but those were bait and switch dealers. Comparing the base version of both, you get more with the Camaro than the Mustang so I'd expect the Camaro to be a little more, but not a 4k spread.

Your logic is flawed here.

Plain and simple the muscle car category isn't doing good right now. However, I guarantee you Ford doesn't care how the Mustang is selling compared to the Expedition. Just like a guarantee that Chevy doesn't care how the Camaro is selling compared to the Equinox. And guess what, I'm willing to bet that Dodge doesn't care how the Challenger is doing compared to the non-performance based Durangos.

You're comparing apples and oranges. The Mustang is outselling it's competition.
