Slight steering wheel shake after wider wheels installed

I went 20X9 on all 4 corners, 257/40/20

Slight shake in the steering wheel at cruise, the roads where I live are pretty rough and I can't figure out if the wider wheel is feeling every bump in the road or if I need an alignment.

I am 60,xxx miles in, so an alignment on these rough roads probably won't hurt anything, but I am just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Loving the FR replicas, and they are balanced for information sake.

Thanks!

Check,
1. Wheels are installed straight and true with nuts properly torqued
2. Have another shop rebalance the wheels. Road force balancer is better than generic one. Most gm dealers have one
3. Check alignment
4. Inspect for loose parts, ball joints, tie rods etc
5. Inspect for seized brake caliper

I would say they arent balanced well in my opinion. Since you didn't have issues before. Some shops I've had to go back 3 times before they would get balancing right on the wide wheels.

Factory Reproductions

Called those guys as well and they said they'd send me another wheel if that was the case.

UPdate

Tech said he doesn't think the wheels are out of round, and that it wasn't balanced properly so I'm going back tomorrow for road force balancing

One thing I have found over the years is you can have some slight rust build up on the rotor that can interfere with a new or different wheel mounting completely flush. I always clean both mounting surfaces with a 3m disc and/or a small wire wheel on a drill.

I Always need to get them double checked. Wide wheels with tape weights always seems like most shops I've dealt with can't manage to get them right on the first try.
