XM graphics are back

Went out at noon and nothing changed. Came home around 3pm and all of a sudden the fancy XM graphics that have been missing for a couple of years are back. I listen to ch. 6 and had a picture of a juke box. The Sinatra channel had a picture of a man playing a sax. The MLB channel briefly had a picture of a baseball then changed it to something strange. It's not a big deal but it's kind of cool to glance down occasionally and see something colorful down there and not the blah blue and light blue and dark blue.

I saw that too yesterday for about 4 hours and now they are gone again, what the heck I kinda liked them.

I saw them as late as yesterday around 3 pm (EDT). Will have to check this morning. It will be disappointing if they are gone. I know it's only a small thing but still adds to the overall experience of having cool things.

Looks like XM is experimenting with the various pictures that they have programmed in to their computers. I went through most of the stations and some have the old boring graphics and some the new. And some were changing from new to old as I randomly went through the channels. It appears that the channels 2-9 are keeping the jukebox art. But some other channels don't make sense. Non religious channels are showing a church with a cross in front. Latin music channels have a photo of a baseball. And others have a picture of traffic on an expressway. The weather/traffic channels have the old picture of raindrops. The baseball channels have gone back to the blue background with white generic circles on it.

I be had my 1LE now for over a year. I seen these graphics once before yesterday. Now I'm back to a blue bubble screen or a blue guitar .awesome it worked for a day. I'm tired of a blue screen!! Never changed but once!!on all stations.....why How do we bring back these graphics??

They were all over the place with the various screens, most of which were misplaced. At first there was a photo of a baseball on the baseball channels. The baseball later showed up on the traffic channels. The only consistent picture was the jukebox on channels 3-9. Now sadly, the dull blue screen is back.

I don't like the colored graphics vs. the blue background. I think it's too busy and some of the pictures, such as the jukebox, make the text difficult to read at a glance.

I've never seen any fancy graphics when I happen to stumble up into XM and notice it's free for a little while.

Decided to go with an aftermarket Kendall system. Anyone want a used 2013 Mylink w/o Nav. and a portable Garmin nuvi 2797?
